During this special time, we as Christians are called upon to prepare our hearts and spirits for the greatest season of our Christian calendar: EASTER. As a part of this journey, you may be choosing to give up something or fasting in order to reflect more deeply upon the loving sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Please remember to do any fasting in accordance with your medical needs. Also, Sundays are never fasting days for us as we celebrate the gift of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. We encourage you during this time of preparation and reflection to: 1. Have daily devotions. The Upper Room is excellent and is also available on-line. (See Calvary’s Web Site Home Page) 2. Attend worship and Sunday School every Sunday you are able. 3. Come to “Wednesday Evenings With God” from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. 4. Participate in Holy Week
