UNITED METHODIST WOMEN

 

EASTER EGGS

 

We began taking orders for Easter Eggs on February 14,2010.

Sign up sheets will be available at the Information Center and in the narthex.

If you care to take orders where you work, from your neighbors, friends or family,

see Hattie for order sheets.

Eggs will be 75 cents each . We will again make Peanut Butter and Butter Cremes.

All egg orders are due by March 8,2010.

Eggs will be made the week of March 15 - 19,2010.

Egg orders can be picked up on Sunday March 21 in the Fellowship Hall.

 

If you can help form, dip, or wrap eggs talk to Joan Gumerlock or Hattie Lehigh.

 

SPRING NUT FRY

 

The Spring Nut Fry will be March 8, 9, 2010.  The cost of the nuts will be: 

Peanuts -$4.50 per pound and Cashews- $9.25 per pound.

Please note the price has not increased.

 

The deadline for orders is February 28th and they may be picked up on March 9th or 10th.

 

VEGETABLE SOUP SALE

 

Sign-up sheets for the Vegetable soup sale will be at the information center

on March 14^th , the deadline for orders is March 30^th .

Saturday, April 24 - Calvary UMC 9 a.m. - 12 noon  Breakfast Study

Saturday, September 18 - Grace UMC, Hanover 8:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

 

Central Penna Conference UMW

 

Congratulations to the Conference UM Women on meeting their goal to

Women’s Division in 2009. Our goal pledge was $220,000.00.

Calvary Women helped the Conference to achieve this goal.

 

ANNUAL MEETING

 

             Central PA U.M.W. will have their Annual Day at Aldersgate United Methodist Church in York

on October 23, 2010.

             It will be a time of celebrating our past and our becoming a new Conference that being Susquehanna Conference.

             As the old fades away we look to the future and new beginning of our new conference beginning in 2011.
